1501   Bältgatan

The building is part of a 19th century inner city block in the most high-end residential area of Stockholm. The conversion turned the former house-wife school into 22 apartments varying in size from 18 to 506 sqm. The facade and the interior had undergone many alterations and our main object was to restore the facade and to keep the robustness of an interior which had otherwise lost many of its original details. The project was a collaboration with the furniture designer Mats Theselius and resulted in several new solutions for bathrooms, kitchens and closets.
