The plot is situated on Stockholm’s hilly southern island on the border between the closed perimeter blocks and the preserved working class cottages. The free standing corner building mediates the two types, enclosing the street and at the same time, seen from the main square, continues the small scale building type that climbs the hill in the background. The rendered facade borrows the pecked treatment from a 18th century brewery further down the street.
